Pultruded Profiles
High-strength, corrosion-resistant composite profiles manufactured through continuous pultrusion — engineered for structural, industrial and infrastructure applications where metal would corrode or add unnecessary weight.
Continuous Pultrusion Profiles
Pultruded profiles are manufactured by pulling continuous bundles of reinforcement fibers through a resin bath and then through a heated die, where the resin cures and forms a constant cross-section profile. The result is a high-strength composite profile with excellent dimensional stability and corrosion resistance.
Mahaveer Composites supplies pultruded profiles for structural, industrial and infrastructure applications. Our profiles are produced using glass fiber reinforcement and thermosetting resin systems, giving them a favorable strength-to-weight ratio compared with steel and aluminium in corrosive or electrically sensitive environments.
Pultruded profiles are used where long service life, low maintenance and non-conductive performance matter — from cable trays and ladders to handrails, grating supports and structural framing.
Technical Specifications
Pultruded profiles are available in a range of standard and custom cross-sections. Please contact us with your drawing or profile requirement for exact availability.
| Parameter | Available Range / Options |
|---|---|
| Reinforcement | Continuous glass fiber (roving and mat), with options for carbon or aramid reinforcement on request |
| Resin Systems | Polyester, vinyl ester and epoxy resin systems |
| Profile Shapes | Rods, tubes, rectangular bars, square tubes, angles, channels and custom profiles |
| Surface Finish | Smooth or sanded surface; color options available on request |
| Profile Length | Standard lengths up to 6 m; longer lengths on request |
| Dimensional Tolerance | Manufactured to standard pultrusion tolerances; tight tolerances available on request |
| Custom Profiles | Custom cross-sections and tooling available for volume requirements |
Exact dimensions, mechanical properties and resin compatibility depend on the selected profile and application. Please share your drawing or performance requirement and our team will confirm the most suitable specification.

Key Performance Characteristics
Why pultruded composite profiles are chosen over traditional materials.
High Strength-to-Weight Ratio
Pultruded profiles provide high tensile and flexural strength at a fraction of the weight of steel, reducing structural load and handling effort.
Corrosion Resistance
Composite profiles resist rust, chemical attack and moisture ingress, making them suitable for coastal, industrial and wastewater environments.
Non-Conductive
Glass fiber pultruded profiles are electrically non-conductive and thermally insulating, supporting safe use near electrical equipment.
Dimensional Stability
Continuous pultrusion produces consistent cross-sections with low warpage and good dimensional repeatability across production runs.
Low Maintenance
Pultruded profiles do not require painting or rust treatment, reducing long-term maintenance costs in outdoor and industrial installations.
Design Flexibility
Standard shapes and custom tooling allow engineers to specify profiles matched to structural, installation and aesthetic requirements.
Typical Applications
Pultruded profiles are used across industries where corrosion resistance, strength and low weight matter.
Cable trays, ladders and support systems in electrical installations
Handrails, walkways and platform structures in industrial plants
Structural framing for buildings, canopies and shelters
Grating support and floor framing in corrosive environments
Bridge components, guardrails and infrastructure reinforcement
Marine docks, piers and coastal structures exposed to saltwater
Chemical plant supports and wastewater treatment structures
Custom framing and tooling for industrial equipment and enclosures
Quality-Focused Pultrusion Supply
Pultruded profiles depend on consistent fiber content, resin cure and die temperature control. We work with production partners who monitor these parameters to deliver profiles with reliable mechanical properties and dimensional consistency.
Our role is to help customers specify the right profile for their application and to confirm resin, reinforcement and tolerance requirements before production.
- ✓ Confirmation of profile drawing, dimensions and tolerance before production
- ✓ Guidance on resin selection for chemical, UV or structural exposure
- ✓ Support for standard shapes and custom profile development
- ✓ Consistent supply for repeat orders and project schedules
